Throughout the centuries, wine has aroused around him a quantity of beliefs and symbolic being an important element in ritual and sacrificial practices. “Magic drink” or “gift of the gods”, often associated with the rebirth of life after death has been a major theme in Greek and Christian mythologies.
BELIEFS depicts Satyrs and Maenads, creatures of the Dionysian circle, expressing the alterations caused by the ingestion of this sacred beverage.
