THE TIME THAT REMAINS | Musée d’Histoire Naturelle de Paris, Paris (France) | 2015

“The time that remains” sets in motion a mythical timeline that disarms linear or chronological time.
The installation consists on several levitating helicopter seeds fixed on fishing lines, hovering over fans placed underneath each one. Each one is also lit from underneath, producing a flicker effect similar to a film being projected. Like moths or butterflies, they seem to defy the linear time where a flying seed naturally glides from A to B, before reaching the ground, creating a timeline loop that is stuck in sort of alternate present.
