EVENT HORIZON | Alarcon Criado Gallery, Seville (Spain) | 2015-2016

Artists: Lina López / François Bucher

Through a series of relational proposals, François Bucher and Lina López raise, from the artistic field, an awareness of the thresholds of perception and knowledge in the contemporary age.

By establishing parallels between the scientific and the spiritual, between science and ancestral knowledge, between the material and the intangible, the authors find in art the reconciling vehicle of fields that, for the time being, appear to be antagonistic.

Through these approaches, the artists suggest an interdimensional wandering through the history of culture, an initiatory pilgrimage from the consciousness of the present time to the unfathomable ‘Event Horizon’.
